since the friends first met, various journeys brought them to the congo, burkina faso, the middle east and the american west coast. traces of these musical epicenters find their way back into the music.

they twist the djembe with spaced out synth, blues with moroccan gnaua rhythms, creating an earthquake for both mind and soul. feel a mixture of psych, kraut and western african influences combined to form a rolling, yet fragile sound.

in may 2015 the group released their debut lp DREAM FACTORY (vinyl, cd, digital).
a new full length album, called THE NOISE OF TIME (vinyl, cd, digital) will be released in april 2018 via nasoni records (berlin).

i know your sorrows
but why do you fight the poor?
you´re standing here angry
with a feeling about to fall

one hour until sunrise
and the city´s burning bright,
you´re standing there wondering,
if this way is right

you can feel the anger
but don’t know how it’s meant to be
while fearing the unknown
it’s not better to be free

one hour until sundown
and the house is burning down
you´re standing there angry
with a feeling about to drown

take a nugget and build yourself a goldmine of truth
take the truth and build yourself a castle of fear
there is no right life in the wrong one

you´re blinded by hatred
of those you don’t know
you´re fighting your sisters
that lived years ago

you meet yourself early morning
to do your own parade
to march, to let out anger
to sing your songs of hate

you think of a better living
while you crucify your soul
as you do it to your brother
like it was your only goal

the streets end up in smoke
like your mind that is subsided
and your visions of a better life
end up divided

take a nugget and build yourself a goldmine of truth
take the truth and build yourself a castle of fear
there is no right life in the wrong one

i heard you lost your, heard you lost your
heard you lost your father yesterday
car accident, it was a car accident
down road chile, down road chile

i heard there was a baby child born
i heard there was a baby child born
six years ago
six years ago

he won´t do the the same mistake again
won´t do the the same mistake again
it´s about leaving
it´s about leaving

and he knows something’s wrong
for to show that it’s gone, that it´s gone

earn some money, take the airplane
earn some money, take the airplane
return back again
return back again

he won´t do the the same mistake again
won´t do the the same mistake again
it’s about loving
it’s about loving

and he knows something’s wrong
for to show that it’s gone, that it’s gone

sitting here with another glass
while breath outside is freezing
and it feels like she´s laying next to him
instead he holds a cigarette and a bouquet of ideas

he holds an apple, he holds the bread
the white men have paid for
and he does not know what he is running for
instead a slight misgiving hazes through his head

who is running
who is hiding
who is watching
what other men have been through

he sees his brother come along
carries loads of disturbance
and knows that all the thousands here
came by fishtrucks, land and sea

going out, wondering ´round
gonna see, went to dream
guess it is not
what it seems to be

got a mountain´s peak in my back
strange thoughts in my neck
going down to the river
where the track is waiting for me

i follow the river
i see what it delivers
i'm going down to the sea
where the big surf is coming in

monolith logs are floating
whales are moaning
waves are rolling
and the water pours in me

i start to feel now
i start to need now
i start to sleep now
for the sake of some relief

i'm back on the beach
my blue face bleeds
i'm dug in the sand
but i'm finally free
